About TidyOutput

TidyOutput exists because of a small, repeated annoyance: text that comes out of AI tools is never quite ready to use. It arrives full of Markdown markers, em dashes, curly quotes, and sometimes characters you cannot even see. Fixing that by hand, several times a day, adds up.

Each tool here does one narrow job well: clean pasted AI text, reveal hidden characters, turn Markdown into a Word document or a spreadsheet, make a transcript readable, or check a prompt against a model's context window. Start with the AI Text Cleaner if you are new here.

The privacy rule

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no server-side processing, no account, and no storage of anything you paste. This is a hard design rule, not a policy that might change: the site is built as static files, so there is nowhere for your text to go.

How the site is funded

The site shows ads. That keeps the tools free without accounts, subscriptions, or artificial limits. Ads never read the text you paste; see the privacy policy for details.

Requests

New tools get added regularly, and reader requests decide what comes next. If you keep hitting a cleanup or conversion job that should be one paste away, send a note.
